On the 14th of February 2022, we embarked on a transformative journey to expand our production footprint beyond China, marking a significant step forward in our ambitions to better serve our customers with greater efficiency and effectiveness. This strategic decision took us to Malaysia, where we established our newest state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. 

After months of comprehensive preparation, planning, consideration, and development, a bold investment was made – and on the 1st of August 2024, the Malaysia factory had officially commenced mass production operations. 

Production Capacity Increased

By complementing the production capacity of our existing factory in China, the combined output of both locations will allow us to achieve an impressive total production capacity of 3.5M units annually, an almost 20% increase. This dual-factory setup is designed to ensure scalability, operational resilience, and high-quality consistency.

Global Trade Readiness

Our Malaysia factory holds various trade certifications that ensure smooth customs clearance, compliance with import regulations, and tariff benefits. We are also authorized to label our products as “Made in Malaysia” in regions such as EU, USA, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, India, and ASEAN countries.

Strategic Location and Resourcefulness

Located near our headquarters in Singapore, Malaysia offers iMin proximity that facilitates efficient communication and streamlined logistics. Our deep cultural alignment also helps to foster seamless collaboration and synergetic team relationships from the get-go. Furthermore, with decades of investment from global leaders such as South Korea and Japan, Malaysia has proven its manufacturing eco-system and access to a highly skilled workforce. Additionally, its diverse supply chain allows us to source over 80% of our components locally, improving our operational competitiveness.
