The Shark is an good all round barcode scanner, suitable for versatile applications.
Thanks to uIMG, independently designed decoding software by Newland Auto-ID, the scanner can read all global standard 1D barcode symbologies as well as major 2D codes (QR Code, Datamatrix, PDF417, Aztec, Maxicode, LP Code). Reading performance reaches global standards by the advanced ability to decode barcodes from hard to read surfaces and damaged barcodes By using uExpress, Newland’s proprietary configuration software, or the programming barcodes included in the user manual, one can easily configure the scanner to read and transmit a wide variety of barcode data.
Characterized by delicate design, superior performance and solid reliability, this device fits in a wide variety of applications, including retail point-of-sale, E-commerce and office automation settings
Its core technology (decoder chip) is independently developed by Newland, comprising optical system, CMOS, digitizer, decoder, image processor and embedded system. The device delivers an unprecedented decoding capability on 1D and 2D symbologies (including QR Code, Data Matrix and PDF417). Users can create their own apps with our development tools to identify particular images and symbols.
